Special Food

Hello friends,

This is my first time ever blogging. I wanted to be able to have a place that was dedicated to the topics that are discussed in my upcoming book, Beauty Treatments:Prepare to Meet Your King, and I think this should do us justice.

My name is Jodie Dye, and I am new Christian author. I am a rookie, to say the least. I love to write but I have never really put myself out there, until now. I realize however, it is the best way to tell the world what Jesus has done for and through me. When the world sees me, I want them to see Jesus; beauty treatments have been given to me for that purpose. Just as Esther in the Bible received beauty treatments and special food for 12 months to prepare her for King Xerxes, likewise, I received them also during the same amount of time. The book I have written talks about my journey in God’s Word as I sought out the Truth of what makes someone beautiful. I found a wealth of treasure in the majesty and splendor of an Almighty King. He invites us to sup with Him. As we sit around the banquet table feasting our eyes on all the splendor we see, He opens His mouth to speak. All eyes are open wide, and silence fills the room; We listen intently and in this moment, He gives us special food. Food that nourishes us, food that sustains us, this Special Food is none other than the Word of God.
